A viagem começou atribulada pois estava na linha errada, acabei por chegar a meio da noite, mas sem problemas de maior. A chegada ao meu alojamento também não foi fácil pois os códigos de segurança tornavam difícil a entrada, mas finalmente consegui chegar ao meu destino final e aproveitar a cidade do Porto!
O
que dizer:
Um
tempo magnânimo, um dilúvio de culturas, barcos charmosos, a centenária
livraria “Lello & Irmão”, a arquitectura fantástica...
Vila
Nova de Gaia fica mesmo do outro lado do rio. Lá podemos encontrar o “Mosteiro
da Serra do Pilar” com uma vista fantástica.
No
Porto, a praça da Liberdade, onde os cavaleiros D. Pedro IV eternaliza um
notável papiro (a carta constitucional).
A
maravilhosa estação de S.Bento, repleta de azulejos que narram o progresso dos
transportes e das invenções a si associadas.
Artistas
de rua que animam que por ali passa e finalmente... o regresso a casa,
problemas em apanhar o comboio certo novamente mas acabo por chegar sã e salva,
apesar de a meio de noite.
Recebo
ainda a última novidade do CENSA, um desenho que uma das crianças fez para mim,
somos nós!

Wrong train line, I
arrivied in the middle of the night, but safely.
Then, the arrival at an
apartment where codes reign supreme, ensuring access (or not) to the edifying
structure. Each room with representative characters of Portugal and a design
inherent to it.
Afterwards, finally,
Porto… What to say:
Magnanimous time, a
deluge of cultures, charming boats, with a "Livraria Lello &
Irmão" of yesteryear and wooden architecture, so of fables…
Vila Nova de Gaia in
front is divided only by a strip of brook. There the “Mosteiro da Serra do
Pilar” is a look-out, enjoying a wonderful view.
Porto with its
“Praça da Liberdade” where the dark knight, Don Pedro IV, brandishs a
remarkable papyrus (the constitutional charter).
The marvelous station
of “São Bento”, full of azulejos that narrate the progress in transport and
related inventions, as well as about Portugal.
Street artists, capable
of cheerful virtuosities and then that wrong train line. Arrival in the middle
of the night, but safely.
The latest news about “a Censa child” (Eleanor) is
the representation of me and her. She with the attention and intelligence of a
squirrel...
